Kay Bojesen’s silverware was a lifelong project of vast
dimensions. From lobster fork to oyster scraper, marrow spoon
and asparagus set, the affinity with the Grand Prix flatware is
obvious.

Corpus
Corpus
Those alert to the poetry of shape will feel fresh air in Kay
Bojesen’s proportions. In their austere form, they reflect
imagination and sensibility alike. The expression is sober but
never undernourished.

Children
Children
Naturally, children dine with silverware at Kay Bojesen’s table.
From the first intuitive grasp to the more advanced, Bojesen’s
child-mindedness shines through long before good parenting
became dinner talk..

Accesories
Accesories
Victorian Copenhagen saw little Kay be hanging out of the
window with every change of the Royal Guard. The guardsman
with the moveable arms is from around 1950. After Bojesen’s
death, a small box was found with surplus heads, shoes and
limbs.

Jewellery
Jewellery
Kay Bojesen’s sense of form is tested in his jewellery. Unlike the
cutlery, things don’t have to be useful, just look good. The recipe
is understated and the line almost courteous. We’re here but
we’re well behaved.
