KAY BOJESEN SILVERWARE

Kay Bojesen’s silverware was a lifelong project of vast dimensions. Kay Bojesen was trained as a silversmith by Georg Jensen in a Copenhagen backyard from 1907-1910 where he was taught how to master Art Nouveau to perfection. After his apprenticeship, Kay Bojesen became fond of functionalism and he saw the clean, smooth surfaces and the reflections of the silver as decoration in itself.

In the 1930’s, Kay Bojesen crafted functional masterpieces in silver; from cutlery, coffee pots, trays, tee pots, bowls, and plates, to vases, cups, candle holders, figurines, and jewellery. Today, Kay Bojesen’s silver designs are produced by a silversmith in Denmark, and you can experience our wide assortment below.
